The second day of the Emerging Science & Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC 2025) featured PitchX @ ESTIC 2025, where over 20 DeepTech startups presented breakthrough innovations to leading investors, including PeakXV, Yournest, Foundation for Advancing Science and Technology (FAST) India, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) Ventures, and Silver Needle Ventures (SNV) Fund. The Union Minister for Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, highlighted the Rs. 1,00,000 Crore (US$ 11.28 billion) Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme, aimed at driving private sector participation and advancing India’s DeepTech revolution.
The Secretary at the Department of Science & Technology, Mr. Abhay Karandikar, announced that the Department and the Technology Development Board (TDB) will soon initiate investments to support startups in sunrise sectors. The DeepTech Startup Showcase presented 30 startups across Space & Defence, Quantum Technologies, Cybersecurity, Health & Life Sciences, Semiconductors, Artificial Intelligence, Water, and AgriTech, underscoring India’s focus on research-driven, inclusive innovation. Startups such as EndureAir Systems, Atreya Innovations, Lifespark Technologies, Noccarc Robotics, and FortyTwo Labs were recognised as promising ventures, marking PitchX @ ESTIC 2025 as a key enabler of India’s innovation-led growth.
