The Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, has expressed great joy that Government e-Marketplace (GeM) has surpassed the Gross Merchandise Value of US$ 24.27 billion (Rs. 2 lakh crore) in 2022-23.
The Prime Minister tweeted in reaction to a statement made by Union Minister Mr. Piyush Goyal, "Excellent! @GeM_India has given us a glimpse of the energy and enterprise of the people of India. It has ensured prosperity and better markets for many citizens."
