PM Modi inaugurates 'Iconic Week' celebrations, launches Jan Samarth portal

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi launched the 'Iconic Week Celebrations' of the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Affairs at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. The "iconic week" will be held from June 6-11, 2022 as part of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' (AKAM).
Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs Ms. Nirmala Sitharaman have also launched the Jan Samarth Site, a nationwide portal for credit-linked government initiatives. The e-portal is a one-stop digital platform that connects government credit initiatives that connect beneficiaries directly to lenders.
He also introduced a digital exhibition at the ceremony that follows the eight-year journey of the two ministries, Finance and Corporate Affairs. Honourable Prime Minister also issued limited edition Re 1, Rs. 2, Rs. 5, Rs. 10, and Rs. 20 coins. These particular sets of coins include the AKAM logo and are easily identified by visually challenged people.
