PM releases first installment to 1 lakh PMAY(G) beneficiaries under PM-JANMAN

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi disbursed the initial installment to 1 lakh beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) under Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) through a virtual event. Engaging with a beneficiary, Ms. Mankunwari Bai from Chhattisgarh, the Prime Minister learned about her involvement in self-help groups, promoting PM-JANMAN schemes, and plans to sell produce at Van Dhan Kendras. She highlighted the benefits received, including a pucca house, water, gas, electricity connections, and Ayushman Card advantages. Expressing gratitude, she emphasized the transformative impact achieved in a short period.

The Prime Minister underscored the government's commitment to inclusivity, emphasizing schemes reaching every individual. He discussed efforts to benefit tribal communities, linking farmers to PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, providing Kisan Credit Cards, and addressing land rights under the Forest Rights Act. Emphasizing rapid progress, he assured comprehensive implementation of government schemes. The Prime Minister also highlighted the government's focus on Pucca houses for Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) and urged beneficiaries to avoid bribery. He affirmed the commitment to reaching every deserving candidate beyond the initial 1 lakh beneficiaries.
