According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Foreign Minister of Portugal Mr. Joao Cravinho's visit to India is an opportunity for the two countries to strengthen their bilateral ties.
Mr. Joao Cravinho is in Delhi for a geopolitical and geoeconomic summit. According to the MEA, the event will bring together the foreign ministers of Argentina, Armenia, Guyana, Nigeria, Norway, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Madagascar, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Poland and Slovenia.
Luxembourg's Foreign Minister, Mr. Jean Asselborn, and Lithuania's Foreign Minister, Mr. Gabrielius Landsbergis, arrived in New Delhi earlier in the day to attend the conclave.
