Prasar Bharati inks MoU with Madagascar for broadcasting collaboration

Prasar Bharati, India's national broadcaster, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Madagascar's official ORTM (Office de la Radio et de la Television) for broadcasting cooperation and collaboration.

The MoU was signed by Indian Ambassador Mr. Abhay Kumar and Director General of ORTM, Mr. Jean Yves on May 10. The ceremony was graced by the Director of Cabinet to India's Ministry of Communication and Culture, as well as representatives from Madagascar's government.

The MoU intends to exchange programmes, explore co-production of programmes, and provide training and exchange of personnel. Prasar Bharati's internal productions in the realms of culture, education, science, entertainment, sports, news and other areas of mutual interest will be broadcasted on TVM (Madagascar National Television).
