President Ms. Murmu flags off first Kolkata-Agartala express train from Tripura

On October 13, 2022, the Guwahati-Kolkata-Guwahati train's extension to Agartala was flagged off by President Ms. Droupadi Murmu, and the Chief Minister of Tripura, Mr. Manik Saha.
Additionally, the Agartala-Jiribam-Agartala Jan Shatabdi Express was extended up to Khongsang in Manipur by Ms. Murmu and Mr. Saha.
The Supercomputer facility Param Kamrupa, the facility for the design and development of high power microwave components at IIT Guwahati, the Medical College and Hospital at Dhubri, and Zonal Institutes of the National Institute of Virology are among the projects that the Union Ministries of Electronics & Information Technology, Health and Family Welfare, and the Government of Assam will virtually inaugurate later.
President Ms. Murmu is on a visit to Tripura and Assam from October 12-14.
