President of India, Ms. Droupadi Murmu, will preside over the ‘Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Day 2025 – Udyami Bharat’ event on June 27, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Organised by the Ministry of MSME, the event will witness the participation of Minister for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Mr. Jitan Ram Manjhi, Minister of State in the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Ms. Shobha Karandlaje, and Chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Mr. Manoj Kumar, among other senior officials and stakeholders. The Day marks the critical role of the MSME sector in driving India’s economic growth and serves as a platform for launching new initiatives to make the sector more resilient, competitive, and future-ready.
A special postage stamp will be released to commemorate 25 years of the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE), which has sanctioned over 1.18 crore credit guarantees worth Rs. 9,80,000 crore (US$ 114.42 billion) to date, including a record Rs. 3,00,000 crore (US$ 35.03 billion) in FY25. The event will also see the launch of the Ministry’s new Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Portal aimed at addressing delayed payment disputes efficiently. Additionally, she will inaugurate MSME Hackathon 5.0, announce the results of Hackathon 4.0 under the MSME Champions Scheme, and release the ‘MSME Patrika’ journal along with a ‘Know Your Lender’ guide to enhance financial awareness and credit access for MSMEs.
