Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra lays the foundation stone and dedicates to the nation multiple development projects worth over US$ 2.4 billion (Rs. 19,600 crore) in Chandikhole, Odisha.

Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi marked a significant milestone in Odisha by inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for diverse development projects valued at over US$ 2.4 billion (Rs. 19,600 crore) in Chandikhole. These initiatives span crucial sectors such as oil & gas, railways, roads, transport & highways, and atomic energy. Addressing the audience, he acknowledged the commencement of a new era of development in Jajpur and Odisha.

Highlighting the transformative impact of projects worth around US$ 2.4 billion (Rs. 20,000 crore), the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, emphasized their potential to boost industrial activities and create employment opportunities in the region. Notable inaugurations included a 344 km product pipeline from Paradip to Haldia, the Indian Oil Corporation Limited Mono Ethylene Glycol project in Paradip Refinery, and a 0.6 MMTPA LPG Import facility at Paradip, poised to revolutionize the polyester industry in eastern India. The Prime Minister underscored the changing work culture in the country, contrasting the current government's commitment to timely project completion with previous administrations. Ongoing efforts to enhance connectivity in Odisha, including constructing 3000 km of national highways, received recognition, focusing on Rail-Highway-Port connectivity in key districts. The new Angul Sukinda railway line was specifically acknowledged for catalysing development in the Kalinga Nagar Industrial area.
