Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi calls for flexible workplaces, WFH to increase female labour participation

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi emphasised the importance of flexible workplaces, work from home, and flexi work hours in increasing women's labour force participation in the country. In Amritkal, the country's labour ministry is creating its vision for the year 2047. Flexible workspaces, work-from-home environments, and flexi work hours are essential in the future. These can increase women's labour force participation.
Prime Minister praised the e-Shram portal's achievements and invited states to merge their state portals with the e-Shram portal. As the government combines the e-Shram portal with the National Career Service portal, Aseem portal, and Udyam portal, about 28 crore unorganised employees benefit from services such as Universal Account Number and better employment chances. PM Modi also underlined the importance of expanding the advantages of the Employees' State Insurance programme to include more workers by combining it with Ayushman Bharat.
