At the sixth India Mobile Congress 2022 (IMC-2022) in New Delhi's Pragati Maidan, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi debuted 5G phone services on Saturday. The launch is anticipated to unleash fresh business potential and societal advantages, transforming Indian society.

By 2035, it is anticipated that India will have experienced a US$ 450 billion economic benefit from 5G. Millions of connected devices might communicate data in real time thanks to 5G's speed, which is many times quicker than 4G and allows lag-free connectivity.

High data rates, low latency, and extremely dependable communications will all be made possible by 5G. Additionally, it will improve network, spectrum, and energy efficiency.

Millions of Internet of Things devices will be connected thanks to 5G technology, which will also enable higher-quality video services with mobility at fast speeds and the delivery of essential services like telesurgery and autonomous vehicles, among others.

It will aid in the real-time monitoring of disasters, precision farming, and reducing the involvement of humans in risky industrial processes like deep mines and offshore activities, among other things. The requirements for each of these various use cases can be tailored inside the same network, unlike current mobile communication networks.
