On July 11, the National Emblem, which was cast on the roof of the New Parliament Building, was unveiled by Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi. He spoke with the Shramjeevis who were involved in the new Parliament's construction as well.
The National Emblem is 6.5 metres tall, 9500 kg in weight, and made of bronze. It was cast at the top of the new Parliament Building's Central Foyer. To support the Emblem, a steel support system weighing roughly 6500 kg has been built.
Eight separate stages of preparation, from clay modelling and computer graphics through bronze casting and polishing, went into the concept sketch and casting of the National Emblem on the top of the new Parliament Building.
