With the introduction of 'Rajmargyatra,' a citizen-centric unified mobile application, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) makes a big step towards improving the highway user experience. This user-friendly app, which is now accessible on both the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store, provides travellers with in-depth knowledge of Indian National Highways as well as an effective procedure for filing complaints. Currently, the app is only available in English and Hindi.
This app has various features including providing comprehensive highway information. Users of the National Highway can get all the information they need at Rajmargyatra. Access to information on nearby toll booths, petrol stations, hospitals, motels, and other vital facilities guarantees a smooth and secure trip on national highways. It also provides timely broadcast notifications.
The app has a built-in complaint resolution and escalation system. Users can simply report problems with the highway, adding geo-tagged videos or pictures for more detail. The system will automatically escalate any delays in the resolution of the reported complaints to higher authorities. Users can keep track of the progress of their complaints for total transparency. 'Rajmargyatra' connects its services with several bank portals, making it simple for users to recharge their FASTags, obtain monthly passes, and access other FASTag-related financial services, all inside one platform. To promote responsible and safe driving, voice assistance and overspeeding alerts are used.
With these improvements, 'Rajmargyatra' aims to create a seamless, user-friendly experience for highway users, fostering a safer and more enjoyable journey on Indian National Highways.
