RCI expands its global network; adds 16 new resorts in India

Mumbai: Global vacation exchange and part of the US-based Wyndham Destinations, RCI Tuesday said it has added about 103 properties in 2018, including 16 resorts in India.
The new affiliations include resorts in India, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America, and North America, RCI said in a release here.
RCI added 16 resorts in India, including five resorts from Times Heaven Club across the country.
"Through these additions we continue to expand the choices we offer our 3.9 million members through our global exchange network. Over the past year, we've added some properties to the RCI exchange all over the world. In India, these 16 new affiliates significantly augment our presence and commitment to the country," RCI India managing director Sabina Chopra said.
Last year, RCI added 172 new affiliated properties to the RCI portfolio, a 22 percent increase over 2017, which is why the company continued to be the first choice as an exchange partner for affiliated resorts and a vacation partner for its members, RCI senior vice president Fiona Downing added.
