According to Crown Group President Vice Admiral (Retired), Mr. Paras Nath, the recent G20 Summit in New Delhi opened doors for India's defence Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry, which supports the "Make in India" drive. As seen by the most recent G20 Summit, he claimed, India is strengthening its role as a driver of world growth.
He further stated that all major world leaders concur that India is becoming a powerful participant on the international scene. The majority of G20 nations have strong trade ties with India, and several of them have strategic defence agreements. This increased faith and confidence in our diverse capabilities bodes well for the domestic defence MRO business and presents India with a wealth of opportunities.
He also highlighted that the time is ripe to bolster India’s indigenous MRO, and foreign Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) should seize the moment.
