Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, speaking at the Rising Rajasthan Summit on Monday, highlighted India's remarkable growth under the mantra of "Reform, Perform and Transform." He noted that in the past decade, India has risen from the 10th largest to the fifth largest economy, with exports nearly doubling during the same period. He emphasised the importance of building a robust manufacturing base to ensure economic resilience, particularly in times of crisis. He pointed out that India's democratic values and strong economic growth contribute to its global appeal, with experts and investors showing great enthusiasm for its future.
He also praised Rajasthan's progress, crediting the state's responsive governance and recent achievements under Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Mr. Bhajan Lal Sharma. He mentioned that the state, with its vast natural resources, young, skilled workforce, and modern infrastructure, is now an attractive investment destination. He outlined that the state is benefitting from swift infrastructure development, including roads and electricity, and efforts to control crime and corruption have fostered investor confidence. He emphasised that Rajasthan's growing connectivity and strengths in diverse sectors, such as hospitality and handicrafts, are key to its rising economic potential.
