Renewable energy expo to begin on Sep 15, to host over 120 exhibitors

As per a statement published on Thursday, a three-day Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo is expected to start on September 15 at Greater Noida. Over 120 exhibitors are expected to showcase their services, products and technologies in the expo.

The event would include decision makers, influencers, technical experts and experts from leading corporations from areas such as renewable energy generation, distribution and transmission.

The expo would include product demos, new launches, free training programmes, and host UK Pavilion by European Union (EU) Pavilion, Department for International Trade and Bio Energy Pavilion.

Ms. Jennifer Fagan, First Secretary, Trade and Investment – Energy, UK’s Department for International Trade stated, "Earlier this year, the Indian and UK Prime Ministers decided to build UK-India collaboration on low carbon transition and climate change.

"This was completed through a new collaboration on power and renewables, including energy efficiency, offshore wind, energy storage and electric mobility, and to discover joint effort on green hydrogen. We are assured that prospects like these will further benefit us discover potential areas of partnership."

Mr. Ugo Astuto, Ambassador of the EU to India stated, "The EU-India Climate and Clean Energy Partnership is a top priority for EU-India association, focusing on renewable energy, energy efficiency integration in the finance, grid and climate action. In the path of COP26, the global community needs to focus and initiate efforts towards energy transition.”

REI is baked by Cleantech Business Club (CBC), Indian Biogas Association (IBA), Bridge to India (BTI), Indo German Energy Forum-Support Office (IGEF-SO) and National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI).
