Responsibility to bring women's power to the fore during Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi

It is our collective obligation to bring women's power to the fore in the shape of national power in the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, said Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi while inaugurating Shrimad Rajchandra Hospital in Dharampur, Valsad, Gujarat.

In his address the Prime Minister stated that hospital initiatives will benefit women and other vulnerable members of society. The Prime Minister laid foundation for the Shrimad Rajchandra Centre of Excellence for Women and the Shrimad Rajchandra Animal Hospital. The Shrimad Rajchandra Centre of Excellence for Women would be developed at a cost of Rs. 40 crores (US$ 5.06 million), according to the government. It will include recreational amenities, classrooms for self-development workshops, and rest places. It will employ approximately 700 native women and generate employment for hundreds more. He stated that the central government is attempting to remove every barrier that the women in the country experience in their advancement. India's current health policy is concerned with the health of all living beings around us. India is also conducting a countrywide immunisation drive for both people and animals.
