Services exports touched all-time high at $250 bn in FY22: Piyush Goyal

Services exports hit an all-time high of around US$ 250 billion (about Rs. 19 lakh crore) in 2021-22, according to Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food, Public Distribution, and Textiles Mr. Piyush Goyal. In 2019-20, the previous high was US$ 213 billion (about Rs. 16 lakh crore). He said that despite the fact that sectors such as tourism and travel were hit by the COVID pandemic, we were able to meet the US$ 250 billion target. These are the greatest levels of service exports ever recorded.
