Speciality Restaurants Ltd., which is a leading player in the Asian food space, is hoping to clock a revenue of US$ 121.1 million (Rs. 1,000 crore) in the next five years, with the use of upgraded technology, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance customer experience, and a brand refresh. The company aims to drive revenue growth by maintaining earnings before interest, depreciation, tax, and amortisation (EBIDTA) of over 25%.
The company also intends to utilise its brand value to transition into fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) ready-to-eat formats, as well as ramp up delivery through cloud kitchens and a ‘kitchen within a kitchen’ setup.
Additionally, Speciality Restaurants wants to introduce a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brand and open two to three locations in each metropolis, as well as one or two in Tier II cities.
The Chief Managing Director (CMD) of the company, Mr. Anjan Chatterjee highlighted that the Kolkata-headquartered company has already performed very well with two outlets in Dubai and one in London.
