State-owned NBCC business bags orders worth Rs. 1,165 crore in October

On Monday, NBCC (India) Ltd, a state-owned construction company, said it had grabbed business orders worth Rs. 1,165.52 crore (US$ 156.57 million) last month.
"In the month of October 2020, NBCC (India) Limited received a total business of Rs. 1,165.52 crore (US$ 156.57 million)," the company said in a BSE filing.
For the quarter ended September, NBCC posted a consolidated net profit of Rs. 45.61 crore (US$ 6.13 million) last week.
In the year-ago period the company reported a net loss of Rs. 90.91 crore (US$ 12.21 million).
In the second quarter of this fiscal year, overall revenue stood at Rs. 1,426.27 crore (US$ 191.60 million) compared to Rs. 1,720.46 crore (US$ 231.12 million) in the corresponding period of the previous year.
