Tata Technologies expands partnership with Tenneco in US$ 100 million deal

Tata Technologies has expanded its global partnership with Tenneco LLC through a strategic engineering and digital transformation engagement valued at more than Rs. 944 crore (US$ 100 million) over the next five years. The collaboration will strengthen engineering, digital technologies and business transformation across Tenneco's global operations while leveraging Tata Technologies' engineering talent in India. The engagement will be anchored at the company's Global Engineering Centre in Pune and will focus on accelerating product development, improving operational efficiency and deploying Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled engineering capabilities. Tata Technologies will provide engineering research and development, embedded software and digital enterprise services, reinforcing India's growing role as a global hub for advanced engineering and digital innovation.

The expanded engagement builds on the partnership established in 2021 and further strengthens Tata Technologies' role in supporting Tenneco's global engineering operations. The collaboration is expected to enhance Tenneco's ability to respond to evolving customer requirements through faster product innovation, improved operational performance and greater adoption of digital technologies. By combining engineering expertise with AI-driven solutions and embedded software capabilities, the partnership reflects the increasing global demand for India's high-value engineering and technology services. The agreement is also expected to contribute to the growth of India's engineering research and development ecosystem, strengthen the country's position in the global automotive technology value chain and create new opportunities for innovation-led manufacturing and digital transformation.
