TCS signs 7-year multimillion-dollar partnership with Denmark's Ramboll

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered a significant partnership with Ramboll, a leading Danish architecture, engineering, and consultancy firm. This multimillion-dollar collaboration involves TCS leading an IT "transformation" for Ramboll over seven years. While the deal value remains undisclosed, analysts view it as substantial, typically exceeding US$ 100 million. By onboarding over 300 Ramboll IT employees across 12 countries, TCS aims to modernize Ramboll's IT operations, driving growth and cost optimization. Ramboll's senior group director and chief information officer, Mr.Thomas Angelius,  highlights the need for a trusted partner to build a scalable IT platform conducive to innovation and agility.

TCS will oversee various facets of Ramboll's IT infrastructure, including Cloud and data center management, application development, cybersecurity, and digital workplace enhancement. This collaborative effort seeks to establish a digital foundation for Ramboll's expansion while reducing its climate footprint and enhancing scalability. With operations in 35 countries and revenues exceeding DKK 17 billion, Ramboll faces IT complexities due to recent growth. By leveraging its expertise, TCS aims to streamline Ramboll's IT infrastructure, reducing costs and fostering agility. TCS President of Technology, Software, and Services, Mr. V Rajanna, emphasizes the partnership's role in driving intelligent business transformation through data and analytics. With over three decades in Denmark, TCS looks forward to propelling Ramboll's business under the leadership of Country Head of TCS Denmark, Mr. Vikram Sharma.
