The cumulative exports (merchandise & services) during April-October 2025 is estimated at US$ 491.80 Billion, as compared to US$ 469.11 Billion in April-October 2024, estimated growth of 4.84%

India’s total exports, combining merchandise and services, stood at Rs. 6,46,243 crore (US$ 72.89 billion) in October 2025, a slight decline of 0.68% compared with October 2024, according to data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Imports rose 14.87% to Rs. 8,39,610 crore (US$ 94.70 billion), widening the trade deficit to Rs. 1,93,279 crore (US$ 21.80 billion). Merchandise exports fell to Rs. 3,04,813 crore (US$ 34.38 billion), while merchandise imports increased to Rs. 6,74,348 crore (US$ 76.06 billion). Key export drivers in October 2025 included electronic goods, meat, dairy and poultry products, marine products, cashew and coffee, all of which recorded strong YoY growth. Electronic goods exports rose 19.05%, meat, dairy, and poultry products 30.87%, marine products 11.08%, cashew 126.85% and coffee 10.91%. Services exports, estimated at Rs. 3,41,518 crore (US$ 38.52 billion), registered growth compared with the previous year.
During April-October 2025, India’s cumulative exports reached Rs. 43,60,299 crore (US$ 491.80 billion), an increase of 4.84% over the same period in 2024. Merchandise exports grew marginally to Rs. 22,54,181 crore (US$ 254.25 billion), and services exports rose to Rs. 21,06,118 crore (US$ 237.55 billion). Imports during the seven-month period increased 5.74% to Rs. 50,53,177 crore (US$ 569.95 billion). Non-petroleum and non-gems and jewellery exports for April-October 2025 grew to Rs. 18,03,344 crore (US$ 203.40 billion). Major export destinations that saw strong growth in October 2025 included China, Spain, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Tanzania. The Ministry noted that services exports are estimated to have grown 9.75% in April-October 2025.
