The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has focussed on a nationwide capacity-building drive to augment the efficiency of thousands of Aadhaar operators across the nation.
This initiative aims to bolster the Aadhaar ecosystem by keeping operators informed of any recent policy or procedural changes, thereby reducing errors that may occur during the enrolment, updates, and authentication processes. Ultimately, the main goal is to enhance residents’ experience with the Aadhaar system.
Around two dozen of training has already been conducted by the UIDAI as part of the initiative in various states and union territories including North-Eastern states in the past few months. The operators who work at the ground level and are responsible for the enrolment, update and authentications usually possess a sound understanding of processes, guidelines and policies.
The training sessions have already helped around 3,500 operators and master trainers with the required latest knowledge, and mechanisms of enrolment, update and authentication processes. They are well equipped with the information to initiate the process of knowledge dissemination and spread the acquired information further as well.
Over 100 such full-day trainings will be conducted by the UIDAI during the year 2023 across all the states and union territories. By equipping partners with a comprehensive understanding of the Aadhaar ecosystem and promoting behavioural changes, the government can enhance the enrolment and update experience for residents at centres throughout the country, with a focus on empathy and improving overall quality.
