This year's 'Ayurveda Day' is to be organized on the theme of 'Ayurveda for One Health' and celebrated in 100 countries across the globe

This year's Ayurveda Day will be recognised in around 100 nations across the world. The celebration of 'Ayurveda Day' on the topic of 'Ayurveda for One Health' will be a global event, and the Ministry of Ayush will get assistance from all the country's ministries to ensure its success. The Ministry of Ayush convened a conference of various ministries to plan the effective organisation of 'Ayurveda Day' on Dhanvantari Jayanti, on November 10th, 2023.

Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Mr. Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha,  presided over the meeting and stated that, in accordance with our Prime Minister's vision, Ayurveda Day should be organised as a national programme with the mutual cooperation and support of all ministries in the country.

Representatives from many ministries met with the Ministry of Ayush to discuss ways to make 'Ayurveda Day' a huge success. Ministries and departments such as Home, Culture, Foreign, Tribal, Water Resources, Science and Technology Department, CSIR, and others expressed their support for making 'Ayurveda Day' a global celebration through the use of digital technology and the mobilisation of various involvement activities.

To make 'Ayurveda Day' a success, all ministries met with the Ministry of Ayush to discuss their respective participation. The Ayush secretary further added that we must emphasise the three main objectives of Ayurveda Day, 'Ayurveda for students, Ayurveda for farmers, Ayurveda for public health' with the message of 'Ayurveda for everyone every day'.

The goal of Ayurveda Day is to promote and distribute Ayurveda on a global scale for the benefit of humanity, animals, plants, and the environment.
