Top world leaders to attend India–AI Impact Summit in New Delhi

The India–AI Impact Summit 2026 will be held in New Delhi from February 16-20 and will feature the participation of some of the world's most prominent leaders, according to DD News. This will be the first-ever global AI summit hosted in the Global South, drawing participants from nearly 20 countries and ministerial delegations from more than 45 countries. The purpose of this summit is to solidify India as a primary platform for determining the AI initiative on the world stage and fostering international partnerships related to emerging technologies. It is anticipated that there will be an emphasis on building shared standards as well as developing collaborations while helping to create scalable AI tools to benefit society, further establishing India's relevance within the global digital arena.
Several key worldwide leaders will be present throughout the whole summit, including the President of France, Brazil, Spain, and Switzerland, together with Prime Ministers and/or high-level government Representatives the various from around the world. The summit will also include Policymakers, Industry Leaders, Researchers, and Innovators to discuss how to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) in ways that are inclusive and Responsible. The summit will bring together leaders from multiple countries, using the themes of People, Planet, and Progress, to develop a shared vision of AI Development and Governance that puts people first. The goal of the summit is to highlight India's ambition to be a major player in developing and supporting Sustainable and Inclusive Solutions using AI, while also solidifying India's status as a leading voice in global discussions about Next-Generation Technologies.
