TP Saurya and Tata Power Trading Company inked a pact to set up 200 MW solar project in Rajasthan

To establish a 200 MW solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, TP Saurya and Tata Power Trading Company Ltd (TPTCL) have inked a power purchase agreement (PPA).

A division of Tata Power, TP Saurya Ltd. (TPSL) is a part of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL).

With the most recent victory, TPREL's overall renewable energy capacity has increased to 6,788 MW, with 3,917 MW installed (solar 2,989 MW and wind 928 MW) and 2,871 MW in various phases of implementation, according to a regulatory filing by Tata Power.

By March 2024, the plant will be put into operation. TPTCL has a PPA with TPSL for a 25-year period, it was informed, adding that the project will supply 485 million units annually.
