The US's trade with its top 15 partners increased over the previous year, but India had the single-largest gain, according to Ms. Melinda Pavek, Consul General for the US.

Ms. Pavek stated that trade between India and the US totalled US$ 67 billion in the first half of 2022, while speaking at a session of the East India Summit 2022 hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

China, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Germany, the UK, and France are a few of the US's top trading partners.

The US works with the West Bengal Transport Department to support inland water transport projects that are financed by the World Bank, said Ms. Pavek.
