Premium electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette has announced its entry into the European market with the launch of its high-performance models — F77 MACH 2 and F77 SuperStreet — across Germany, France, the UK, Ireland, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The company plans to generate 30–35% of its total revenue from overseas markets by 2028, beginning with Europe as its pilot market in 2025. According to the CEO and Co-founder of Ultraviolette, Mr. Narayan Subramaniam, Ultraviolette’s design, software, and component decisions were made keeping global scalability in mind. Europe was a natural first step due to its strong motorcycling culture, high design standards, and the advantage of stringent certifications enabling sales in 40 countries.
Ultraviolette will export completely built units (CBUs) from India and retail them through distributors in Europe. The company is not considering local assembly in the near term, citing current tax relaxations for electric vehicle imports into Europe. However, it may explore localisation later as volumes scale up. The F77 models come with a 10.3 kilo-watt hour (kWh) battery, delivering 30-kilowatt (kW) of peak power, 0–60 kilometre per hour (km/hr) acceleration in 2.8 seconds, and a top speed of 155 km/hr. Once firmly established in Europe, Ultraviolette plans to expand into Southeast Asia and Latin America as part of its broader global expansion strategy.
