UP Government approves Warehousing Logistics Policy 2022 and aims for US$ 1 trillion economy

Mr. Nand Gopal Gupta, UP’s Industrial Development Minister said that the ‘Warehousing Logistics Policy 2022’ has been approved by the UP Government which will in turn help in the state becoming a US$ 1 trillion economy. "The objective of this policy is to create a strong transport infrastructure network, upgrade and improve the existing warehousing and logistics infrastructure," he said.
UP’s Industrial Development Minister further added that this policy will help in creating an international-level business environment and developing a logistics ecosystem in the state, which would help in the development of new technologies in the fast-changing global economy.
This policy would also be beneficial in the expansion of infrastructure facilities like storage facilities, logistic parks, dry ports, cargo terminals, etc. It will also help in making Uttar Pradesh a US$ 1 trillion economy.
