UP has the potential to become India's economic powerhouse: US Envoy Mr. Sandhu

Indian Ambassador to the United States, Mr. Taranjit Sandhu, noted several transformative changes taking place in the state of Uttar Pradesh such as a business-friendly climate, ambitious defence corridor, world-class data center, and connectivity projects. He even added that with the dynamic leadership, the state of Uttar Pradesh has the promise to become the economic powerhouse of India.
The Indian Ambassador mentioned the areas where the bilateral ties between the countries can move ahead, first and foremost being the Defence and Strategic Industry, investment opportunities in the affordable healthcare segment, prospects in clean energy, and the big bulk of the young and skilled population.
These remarks were made by the Indian Ambassador, Mr. Taranjit Sandhu during a business roundtable in New York upon welcoming a visiting delegation from Uttar Pradesh, India.
