upGrad For Business Inks Deal With Welspun India To Strengthen Data Analytics For Manufacturing employees

UpGrad for Business, the B2B arm of Asia's higher EdTech giant, UpGrad, today announced a partnership with Welspun India Limited, the global leader in home textiles, with the goal of becoming a LifeLongLearning partner for businesses. By upskilling 119 people in Data Analytics, this collaboration seeks to foster and improve Welspun's data culture in order to drive more effective business choices.

The manufacturing industry is transitioning from conventional production methods to NextGen technologies, which will help with automation and digitalisation. According to Mordor Intelligence, the manufacturing market's digital transformation was valued at US$ 263.93 billion in 2020 and is anticipated to reach US$ 767.82 billion by 2026. Welspun is upskilling their workers with upGrad's Data Analytics Certification programme to provide them with the necessary attitude, skillset, and toolset to be future proof.

UpGrad for Business will provide contextualised and tailored training with Welspun-focused workshops and case studies as part of the curriculum to ensure that learners grasp the material. The certification programme will provide the Welspun workforce with an immersive learning experience that includes elements such as online self-learning, instructor-led live sessions, coaching and mentoring, practise, feedback, and assessment, among others, to enable them to make more data-driven, efficient business decisions based on numbers and factual interpretation.
