upGrad plans to hire over 1,000 employees in 3 months to address growing demand

On Tuesday, upGrad, a global EdTech company announced that it plans to recruit > 1,000 employees in India in the next three months to meet the rising demand of the company. The recruitment opportunities would be across departments such as marketing, delivery, learning experience, program and largely from sales.
The company would also focus on hiring from upGrad Rekrut, its own talent pool platform. The fresh Sales recruits would work in a 'Temporary Safe Workplace Bubbles' in Bangalore and Mumbai, across 5-star hotel properties. It would further expand to more cities such as Kolkata, Hyderabad and Delhi.
upGrad CEO- India, Mr. Arjun Mohan, said, “Our recruitment plan is an outcome of the speedy development that we have registered in the last 18 months. Along with global developments, we are all lined up to boost our support and business groups to remain meeting the solid demand for LifeLongLearning.”
