The gross GST revenue collected in the month of June 2023 is US$ 19.67 billion (Rs. 1,61,497 crore), of which CGST is US$ 3.77 billion (Rs. 31,013 crore), SGST is US$ 4.66 billion (Rs. 38,292 crore), IGST is US$ 9.78 billion (Rs. 80,292 crore) (including US$ 4.75 billion (Rs. 39,035 crore) collected on import of goods), and cess is US$ 1.44 billion (Rs. 11,900 crore) (including US$ 125.21 million (Rs. 1,028 crore) collected on import of goods).
The government has settled US$ 4.41 billion (Rs. 36,224 crore) to CGST and US$ 3.68 billion (Rs. 30,269 crore) to SGST from IGST. The total revenue of the Centre and the States in June 2023 after the normal settlement is US$ 8.18 billion (Rs. 67,237 crore) for CGST and US$ 8.35 billion (Rs. 68,561 crore) for SGST. The revenues for the month of June 2023 are 12% more than the GST revenues for the same month last year.
Domestic transaction revenues (including import of service) increased by 18% during the month compared to the same month last year.
For the fourth time, the gross GST collection has surpassed US$ 19.48 billion (Rs. 1.60 lakh crore). The average monthly gross GST collection for the first quarter of FY22, FY23, and FY24 are US$ 13.39 billion (Rs. 1.10 lakh crore), US$ 18.39 billion (Rs. 1.51 lakh crore), and US$ 20.58 billion (Rs. 1.69 lakh crore) respectively.
