‘We are the only large economy with high growth and low inflation’: PM Modi

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi stated that India is the only country in the world that is experiencing significant economic development while simultaneously keeping inflation under control at around 4%, compared to double digits prior to 2014.
Countries like the US, the UK and various other European countries are facing highest levels of inflation in 30/ 40 years. However, India has kept inflation in check, keeping it between 4% and 5%. "Inflation has reached double digits during the UPA era," Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi stated.
