Well done India!: Over 87% of country's adult population fully vaccinated now

Over 87% of India's adult population has received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to Minister of Health & Family Welfare, and Chemicals & Fertilisers, Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya.

Meanwhile, India's total vaccination coverage has surpassed 190.50 crore, administered across 2,37,09,334 sessions, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Under the COVID-19 vaccination program for the age group 12-14 years, which began on March 16, over 3.06 crore (3,06,99,031) adolescents have been administered with the first dose of the vaccine.

The number of daily COVID-19 cases in India has decreased on May 10. In the last 24 hours, the country reported 2,288 new COVID infections, according to data from the Ministry. With this, India now has 19,637 active COVID cases, accounting for 0.05% of the country's total positive cases.
