With Rs 4.4 trillion (US$ 55.18 billion) market cap, Adani Transmission is India's 8th most valued firm

Adani Transmission has joined the exclusive group of India's top ten most valuable corporations. According to market capitalisation, the power transmission company led by Mr. Gautam Adani is now the eighth most valuable company. According to BSE data, Adani Transmission's market capitalisation was Rs 4.4 trillion (US$ 55.18 billion) at 10:25 AM. With this, Adani Transmission has outperformed Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), a housing finance corporation with a market cap of Rs. 4.31 trillion (US$ 54.06 billion).

Shares of Adani Transmission have increased 10% during the past week, while the S&P BSE Sensex has declined 1%. Further, in the past year, the stock has grown 162%, as compared to the 3% rise in the benchmark index.

Adani Transmission is the largest private transmission business in the nation, with a total transmission network of 18,795 circuit kilometres (ckm), of which 14,651 ckm are in service and 4,064 ckm are in various stages of construction. ATL also conducts a distribution business serving over 12 million consumers of Mumbai and Mundra SEZ.
