India’s youth-driven innovation, rising scientific ambition, and expanding grassroots entrepreneurship continue to strengthen the country’s development journey, as reflected in recent national milestones highlighted in the latest ‘Mann ki Baat’ address. Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, underscored how achievements across space technology, defence, and agriculture showcase the country’s growing confidence and capability. He cited the inauguration of the world’s largest Leading Edge Aviation Propulsion (LEAP) engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility in Hyderabad, the induction of INS Mahe, Skyroot’s new Infinity Campus, and the perseverance demonstrated by students attempting Mars-like drone flights as examples of India’s deepening talent pool. These efforts, he said, mirror the resilience shown by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) after Chandrayaan-2, which paved the way for the success of Chandrayaan-3.
The address also reflected India’s broader socio-cultural momentum, including the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, Constitution Day celebrations, and the Ram Mandir’s Dharmadhwaja hoisting. He highlighted grassroots economic activity, such as the growing popularity of bee farming. He celebrated India’s expanding sporting achievements, including securing the bid to host the Commonwealth Games in 2030. He noted that India’s youth, with their commitment, creativity, and ability to turn setbacks into breakthroughs, are central to the vision of Viksit Bharat.
