*From 2014–15 to 2025–26, a total of 25,689 Custom Hiring Centres (CHCs) have been established under the Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanisation (SMAM) scheme, including 558 CHCs during 2025–26 (as of 30 October 2025).
*The Government of India has allocated an outlay of Rs. 1,600 crore (US$ 185.04 million) for 2025–26 under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana. One of its key objectives is to enhance water delivery infrastructure from existing canals and other sources to designated clusters.
*Total area under foodgrain crops stood at 132.1 million hectares in 2023–24 rose from 124.3 million hectares in 2014–15 and 120.2 million hectares in 2004–05.
*The European Union (EU) has approved 102 additional fishery establishments for the export of India’s marine products, taking the total number of EU-approved Indian seafood export units to 604. This milestone is expected to strengthen India’s position in the European seafood market and mitigate the impact of US tariffs.
