India’s tourism and hospitality sector is projected to generate 100 million additional jobs by 2047 according to FAITH, supported by rising domestic demand, improved connectivity, expanding tourism infrastructure and efforts to attract more international visitors.
The 23rd PM-KISAN instalment transferred Rs. 18,880 crore (US$ 1.99 billion) to 9.44 crore farmers, taking the scheme's cumulative disbursement past Rs. 4.46 lakh crore (US$ 47.09 billion) since its 2019 launch, making it one of the world's largest direct income support programmes.
