Manesar: Nestle has launched Nestle Food Safety Institute in partnership with the  Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to create a first world regulatory ecosystem in India and will provide training on food safety management systems, testing, and regulatory standards.

New Delhi: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sampada Yojana (PMKSY) has been approved as the new name of the new central sector scheme for the period of 2016-20, which will supplement agriculture and aim to reduce agri-waste and modernize the processes.

Kolkata: Indian biscuits giant, Britannia Industries Ltd (BIL), is setting up its largest plant ever, in Ranjangaon, Maharashtra, with an investment of Rs 1,000 crore (US$ 156.89 million). The plant will have an annual capacity of 120,000 tonne and will be completed within the next two years.

New Delhi: Kathmandu based conglomerate, CG Group is looking to invest Rs 1,000 crore (US$ 156.08 million) in India by 2020 in its food and beverage business, stated Mr Varun Choudhary, Executive Director, CG Corp Global.
